The Tygart Valley Chapter SAR will have a meeting at 3:00 pm on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at the C&J Restaurant located on US Rt 219/250 in Valley Bend, WV 26293.
This will be a dinner meeting and all Compatriots are encouraged to attend; family and friends are also welcome! We hope to see you there!

Yesterday, Compatriots began receiving a yellow postcard in the postal mail listed as “IMPORTANT MEMBER VERIFICATION NOW DUE”.
There was a mix-up from NSSAR, whereby the state societies and Compatriot membership did not receive prior warning of this recent postcard mailing. The received postcards have created some confusion to Compatriot members which we will endeavor to explain.

Recently, the Tygart Valley Chapter SAR has started cleaning the headstones of Revolutionary War Patriots.
