On behalf of the officers and members of the Tygart Valley Chapter SAR, we welcome our two newest members of the Tygart Valley Chapter SAR: Jarryd B. Powell and Gary L. Channell.
Jarryd B. Powell’s patriot ancestor is John Slaven, who served as a private under Capt. Michael Bowyer and Col. James Wood of the 12th VA Regiment, Continental Line.
Gary L. Channell’s patriot ancestor is Michael Arbogast, who served as a private under Capt. Peter Hull of the 2nd Battalion, Augusta Co VA Militia and he also rendered Patriotic Service.
